This presentation will focus on the critical aspects of adolescent literacy instruction including word study, fluency, vocabulary, comprehension, and motivation. Focus will be placed on McGraw-Hill's adolescent literacy programs; Corrective Reading and Read to Achieve. Corrective Reading is designed to improve skills in Decoding and Comprehension. Read to Achieve, teaches important skills and strategies needed for students to be successful in content area classes and classes that include advanced narrative text. 
 
Participants will have the opportunity to review resource materials and ask questions
